This guide will help you to transfer your Neopet to a different account. You can do this by yourself, or ask a friend to help you.
Transfer a Pet by Yourself
1. Open TWO Browsers. You cannot have two windows open in one browser. This is because you need to be logged on to two accounts, and if you are logged on to one in one window and
another in the other, Neopets will know and you will be logged in on one account in both windows when you refresh even once. You can use
IE, Firefox, Netscape, whatever you like, but you can’t use AvantBrowser and IE together because they are like one browser only, for some reason. In one browser log in on the account you want to transfer from, and the other the one you want to transfer to. On the account you’re transferring from, go to the Adoption Center, and get ready to disown the Neopet. In the other, go to http://www.neopets.com/process_adopt.phtml?pet_name=PETNAMEHERE. This is called a quick adopt link.
2. In the original account, disown the Neopet. QUICKLY go to the other browser.
3. Start refreshing the Quick Adopt Link as fast as possible. You will soon get the pet.
4. Remember, you don’t have to stay in one broswer. You can now use this Neopet anywhere.
Transfer a Pet with a Friend
1. With your friend, set up a time that the pet will be transferred.
2. On one computer, log in on the account you want to transfer from, and the other the one you want to transfer to. On the account you’re transferring from, go to the Adoption Center, and get ready to disown the Neopet. In the other, go to http://www.neopets.com/process_adopt.phtml?pet_name=PETNAMEHERE. This is called a quick adopt link.
3. When the transfer hour comes, in the original account, disown the Neopet.
4. The person on the other computer should, at the same time, start refreshing the Quick Adopt Link as fast as possible. That account will recieve the pet. Make sure this transfer is simultaneous.
