Neocash Card Experience

Well, I recently purchased a Neocash Card, in the amount of $10.00, for the NC Mall. I figured that I might, for those of you unsure on purchasing one, describe the experience. It will be catagorized into several sections. First, comes the purchase.

1: The Purchase

As I was strolling through Target, I figured that, since I was there anyway, I should buy a Neocash Card. Remembering that they were in the Music section, I walked there and found them in 1000 and 2500 NC amounts. I knew I wasn’t spending $25, but the only $10 ones they had were the pink ones with the Usul on the front. This may not be a problem for you, but I was kinda embarassed carrying a pink gift card around. Anyway, I took it to the clerk, and checked it out (for those of you wondering, it must be purchased, so you can’t just scratch the stuff off, write the code down, and leave). Step one was completed. Next came the redeeming.

2: Activation

I went home, with my new Neocash Card, and ran right to the computer, getting on Neopets. I clicked the big Neocash Card link on the front page, took a coin, and scratched off the code. It follows this pattern, for those of you wondering: ### ### ####(substitute numbers for the #s). I entered the code, and it went through (on the first try!). It sent me a conformation Neomail, and gave me an item. I’ll have to rant on this for a second, as it was a BUYABLE ITEM. The item SOLD for about 20k!

3: Shopping

Now that I had my 1000 NC, I had to shop. First, I went and added the Regulation Meridell Knight Superpack to my cart, since it was the best-looking on my Scorchio. Next, because I was curious, I bought the Green and Faerie Mystery Capsules. That added up to 1000 NC, so I went to checkout. I had to enter my password, and it then sent me another conformation Neomail. After that, I opened the Mystery Capsules. The Green one contained Green X-Ray Goggles(it might only have green items). The Faerie one contained a Fierce Mechanical Darkest Faerie Minion and a Floating Jhudora Doll(only items from the Faerie Shoppe).

That’s about all I can say. If you don’t think this sounds like something you’d care to do, or it sounds like something you’d love to do, I’m glad that I steered you in the right direction.

I bought the 15 dollar card…I bought about 8 items , mostly backgrounds and a few accessories/clothes and 2 capsules, a faerie and mystery… So I get 2 extra items in the capsule, it’s worth getting capsules a you get more items worth the money+ the 20K buyable item as well. It was worth it, i’m getting more with my survey checks. You get a rare item when you redeem.
