In a time, where all jellies are cannibalistic, he stood alone. He, the one remaining Jelly Chomby. He was left, to fend for himself upon those cannibalistic jellies! *dramatic music*
In this game you will use the up, down, left and right arrow keys to control your cute little green Chomby buddy. But beware, not only do you have to dodge the large jellies; you also have to become large and strong (ripped!) by eating the jellies that are smaller than you. Jellies that are larger than you will “eat” you, ending the game. Note that the floor is covered in jelly, so there for, you will slip and slide quite a bit. Many guides will tell you to tap, and move cautiously. I’m more into the whole, race away, squeeze into tight corners, but hey, whatever either one works!
Now, here’s a secret for you—If you’ve ever played the good old arcade classic, “Pac man” you’d know that your round little yellow buddy(and his wife…and the ghosts…) Could go right into the left side of the screen, and come out the right a moment later, same for top and bottom, and vice versa of both. Well, your little Chomby friend can do that too, and he doesn’t even need a special pathway, he can cut through anywhere he wants, and come out of the opposite position on your screen! This may not seem exciting but it can help you out of some tight spots…and keep you from fearing the once thought scary edges of the play field.
The option that is most fiddled with is the game size. I recommend playing this game in full screen, or, as large as your computer will allow, as this will take much of the wondering of “Am I bigger than that one?” and other excruciating guess-work out of the game. Leave the quality as it is, unless of course you prefer to be able to count pixels.
As in many Neopets games, JBoD Has a few codes for your use:
- (On screen that says “Press Any Key to Continue”) Type in “marissa” (no box or anything, just type it). This gives you more jellies you’re able to eat.
- (During game play) Type in “fishnegg” and a fish negg will pop up somewhere on your screen. You have to hurry though; it will only be there for a short time. Don’t worry, odds are it will be bigger than you, but you can still eat it. It’s a negg, not a jelly blob! Racing up and eating this delectable treat will score you an additional 50 points.
- (Also during game play) Type in “rainbownegg” and a rainbow negg will pop up somewhere on your screen. This works the same way as the fish negg, but only scores you 25 points.
As stated before, I am the kind of person who likes to make my little Chomby buddy run very, very fast. Whether or not this works for you will simply depend on you, and how you prefer to play the game. I am not saying this is the better way, or slowly is better. Just do what works for you.
When playing, your Chomby buddy will grow, and as he gets bigger, he will be able to eat larger jellies. Now, the larger jellies earn you more points that the smaller ones. This may not seem like a big deal, and you may be saying to yourself “Eat them all! Eat them all!” But that is not necessarily a good plan, as you see, after you consume approximately 250 jellies, the game will simply end, regardless of whether or not you were consumed by a larger jelly. Therefore, you’re going to want to eat the largest jellies you possibly can.

also if you type fishnegg with no spaces a fish negg will appear and if u catch it, it will provide you with 50 points, if you type rainbownegg a rainbow negg will appear and if you catch it, you will gain 20 points. TIP: if you dont grab the neggs fast, they will disappear.
if you type marissa before you press space bar you will get more small jellies during the game.
