Meepit Juice Break Guide

Submitted by Dave

Feed the meepits. That’s the point. Meepits happen to love meepit juice, but it seems it’s all the way across the screen from their comfy little tree. That’s where you come in. Rotating a series of pipes, you need to get the juice from the spouts on the Juice-o-matic to the meepits before they lose their patience.

When playing the game, you’ll see three pipes, colored red, yellow and blue on the left side of the screen, and a tree with three holes and one, two or three meepits sitting in the holes. Each one is a different color, and they want their juice now, or at least before their timer runs out. If it runs out, one of those cute tiny meepits on the branch will fall. Keep as many of those up there as possible, as they are your lives. You have a limited supply, three to be exact.

Smack smack smackTo feed a meepit, twist the pipes to make a complete pipe from the Juice-o-matic to the meepit you’re feeding. Once they’re fed, the pipes used will disappear down the line and new pipes will go into place. The pipes disappearing is what gives you your score. If you feed a meepit the juice of their color, (red meepits want red juce, etc.) each pipe is worth two points. If you give them the wrong color, you’ll only get one point for each one. Once you get into the game, you’ll start to see different things in the pipes like candies, fruits and bad (eaten) apple-like things. Candies will give you an extra 25 points, fruits will give you an extra two points and the apples will make you LOSE two. Try to get your juice to go through the pipes with the bonuses, and steer away from the opposite. (Pretty simple!) Obviously, your score will go up with the number of pipes you use, but watch your timers!
Mix means variety!
After the first level or so, you’ll start seeing some purple, green, orange and… pink meepits! These can only be properly fed by mixing colors. In case you’ve never taken first grade art, purple is made by connecting both red and blue, green with yellow and blue, and orange with red and yellow. Pink is a little different. To achieve pink juice, you need to mix all three! (not conventional!) Colors are mixed by connecting both colors somehow together into one pipe.

You are able to get extra points by feeding more than one meepit at once, but only attempt this if you’ve got a whole lot of time left to work on this.

Now, what if you’ve got 10 seconds left but can only seem to feed a purple meepit red juice? Do it, or you’ll run out of time, but try to use as many pipes as possible for the next few meepits to compensate for the lost score.

Before you head over to start playing, let’s run through this game’s cool secrets real quick:

Extra life: Type meepits while playing to earn an extra life! (Looked like there was a bit of extra room on that branch!)

Reset: Type juice-o-matic (with all the dashes) to reset the timers of every meepit onscreen.

The Phantom Orange Shirt Guy: Yep, he did this one too. To find Oliver, click on the eye of the green meepit behind the yellow one at the top while on the title screen.

That’s all! Now you’d better get going! The meepits are getting impatient.
