Turmac Roll Guide

Submitted by Dave

In Turmac Roll, you’re a little Turmac (who knew?) who ROLLS (wow…) around looking for berries. You want to eat as many as possible to fill that little Turmac stomach, so the object is pretty clear. Eat berries.

There are 3 levels to Turmac Roll. Easy, Medium, and Hard, each one increasingly harder. We’ll cover this later.

Once you start, you’ll automatically start rolling. The only thing you need to worry about is that you jump at the right time to collect berries, avoid obstacles, etc.

The controls are fairly easy. There’s really only one key to worry about: the UP arrow. When you hti this, you jump. When you don’t, you don’t. Pretty simple. You can slow down and speed up using the left and right arrow keys, but I really never do. You need speed to jump over obstacles.

As you play, you’ll roll over hills that give you a boost when you jump around 3/4 of the way up. You should pretty much jump on every hill, as they usually will be the only thing that can get you over certain obstacles. Practice, practice, practice. The placement of these obstacles, hills, and berries is not random. You learn what is where and when to jump as you play.

Every second that you’re rolling you earn points, but berries give you boosted points, which are pretty much neccessary to get anywhere. The berry points are as follows:

Snidberry - 1 point
Loveberry - 2 points
Chiaberry - 4 points
Conkerberry - 8 points
Voidberry - 15 points
Fishberry - 25 points
Jumbleberry - 50 points
Juicy Berry - 75 points
Unguberry - 100 points
Aquaberry - 200 points

These aren’t the same for each level. For each difficulty, you get different point multipliers, so you’ll earn more from berries on hard than on easy. But that’s to be expected, right?

Try to always play on hard once you get the hang of it, because one common berry can earn you 300 points! Pretty good!

Your neopoints are equal to the number of points you earn, so get rolling! Good luck!
