Kelp is known as the most expensive restaurant in Neopia, and for a reason! Located in Maraqua, Kelp is a gourmet restaurant, that lures you in with hospitality, then makes you pay tens of thousands of Neopoints for your meal. This article will give you information on Kelp, so you can know what to expect when treating your Neopets to some fine dining.
Everyone can get into Kelp. Surprisingly, you can be very poor but march on in anyway.
There is a Kelp Avatar, achieved by taking home a food item. This doesn’t always happen. You may have to dine more than once to take something home. It’s suggested to have your pet bloated before eating. That way, they won’t eat much, and you’ll take something home!

hey, i just spent 32,000 nP there in hopes of taking a chocolate thing home, and my pet was already bloated when i showed up… so dont try it!

I’ve spent 500k so far at kelp, and still no avatar. And before you ask, yes, every time I went there my active pet was ‘very bloated.’ Grrrr.

ya know, in my personal opinion, i think that the kelp is just another way to cheat you out of your own neopoints….(no offense :D)
